About Dr. Anh L. Ngo, MD MBA

As well as being a board-certified anesthesiologist and Harvard-trained interventional pain medicine physician, Anh Ngo, MD, MBA, is a ketamine infusion specialist. At Ketaminology in Newington and Nashua, New Hampshire, he proudly offers ketamine as an alternative approach to treating pain and mental health disorders.

Dr. Ngo completed his postsecondary education from the University of California, Irvine. He earned his undergraduate degree from the School of Biological Sciences, his Doctorate of Medicine from the School of Medicine, and his Masters in Business Administration from the Paul Merage School of Business. Dr. Ngo then completed his anesthesiology residency at the Keck School of Medicine of USC in Los Angeles, California. Afterward, he worked in private practice for the next decade before pursuing an academic career at Harvard Medical School as a faculty member. He then completed his interventional pain medicine fellowship at Harvard University in Boston, Massachusetts.

Committed to learning, Dr. Ngo has served as a faculty member at the Keck School of Medicine of USC and is currently a member of the Committee on Admissions at Harvard Medical School. He holds memberships with the American Society of Anesthesiologists, American Society of Regional Anesthesia, American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians, American Academy of Pain Medicine, North American Neuromodulation Society, International Neuromodulation Society, American Society of Ketamine Physicians and the American Society of Pain and Neuroscience.

Dr. Ngo has been published in academic journals and medical textbooks, both nationally and abroad. He has given lectures at many professional societies and meetings, including the American Academy of Rheumatology, the American Telehealth Association, and the American Association of peri-Operative Registered Nurses.

In addition to his expertise in ketamine as an alternative therapy, Dr. Ngo is experienced in pain management. Dr. Ngo performed the first-ever minimally invasive lumbar decompression (MILD) procedure. He is also trained in spinal cord stimulation, intrathecal pump therapy, kyphoplasty, radiofrequency ablation of tumors in the vertebral spine. 

When he’s not at work, Dr. Ngo enjoys giving back to the community and has established several nonprofit organizations, including The Orange County Swim for Kids, The Vietnamese Community Camp for Kids, and UCI CampMed.
